I am tired of pretending.
I WANT TO DO ALL THE THINGS!! I like filling my time up with things I am passionate about. I like writing here in this newsletter. I like writing about money and growing wealth online on my Medium. I like podcasting. I like posting videos about life and the lessons learned through living it. I am in school studying for a food-focused business degree. Yes, I also like writing fiction!
The guardians of the internet are telling me niche down. Don’t spread yourself out too thin, they say. Heck, even beyond the borders of the internet, everyone tells you to do ONE thing.
Well, guess what guardians of whatever! I AM NOT LISTENING!!!!
I am going to do all the things. If you want to do all the things too, then power to you, you aren’t alone.
The thing about us is this. We aren’t stupid and we are also not crazy.
We know what is too much. We know when we need to put another system in place. We are also smart enough to know what aligns with us and what doesn’t. We know what to do later and what to do now.
Some of us just thrive doing a lot of things. Some of us can truly be a jack of all trades and a master of all. Why box yourself into what others say you shouldn’t do when you know you can?
For example, there is a whole host of things I want to do in this life.
I was sad and burnt out when I had to limit myself. Right now, I allow myself to be free and pursue whatever I want. Instead of crumbling, I built an effective system around that.
Of course, when you have something like this, you can focus on different things at certain times. You have the inner knowledge of when and how to do that. If you are melting in relief that someone gets you, you also have that inner knowing that you can trust.
Sometimes, it looks like trying something out, realizing it isn’t for you, and dropping it. Sometimes, it feels like having the feeling to do something with a lesser frequency. At other times, you can realize when to amp something up and put something on the back burner for a while.
Life is too short to be living the way other people tell you to. You can 100% break the rules by bending them, modifying them, or throwing them in the bin. You are smart and you know yourself better than anyone.
Let’s do all the things!!! If, you want to that is.
Sincerely,
Your Author Bayinnah
Check-In Chat
For this check-in, what are the things you are interested in? How can you weave a little bit of everything you love in the span of a week?
I am going to answer this question in the community chat myself. The only people who can access community chat are other paid members, so it is more intimate and filled with like-minded, supportive people.
If you want to share it in the chat community, great! If you don’t, also great! It is up to you and there is no pressure at all.
Journal Prompts.
What are all the things I want to do in life, no matter how big or small?
What limiting beliefs have I internalized about "doing too much"?
When have I felt the most fulfilled and energized? What was I doing at that time?
What systems can I create to make space for everything I love?
How do I personally define balance? What does it look like in my life?
What activities feel like obligations versus true passions?
How can I prioritize what excites me without feeling overwhelmed?
In what ways have I successfully juggled multiple passions before?
How can I give myself permission to pivot, pause, or amplify different interests as needed?
What would my life look like if I fully embraced my multi-passionate nature without guilt?
Ten journal prompts today instead of my usual favorite number seven. There was just too much good stuff!
🎯 Action Steps
📌 Set Rotating Focus Areas
Instead of doing everything at once, choose 1-3 passions to focus on each month while maintaining light touchpoints with the others.
📝 Track Energy & Happiness Levels
At the end of each day, note which activities fueled you the most. This will help you refine your approach over time.
I know one thing. I am the happiest I have ever been with doing the things I love. I hope this was helpful! See you next week!
Sincerely, Sincerely,
Your Author Bayinnah
